The Petstore2door web site has been up and running since 2009. It was started just prior to the owners Margaret and Ken closing down their Pet Shop in Cotmandene Crescent, Orpington. Ken and Margaret closed the Pet Shop due to falling trade and the arrival of Pets at Home in Orpington though the Charlton outlet had affected them for some years. Since 2009 Margaret and Ken have tried a number of retail ideas a Nut n Sweet Stall, Pet Stall in Dartford and Orpington Markets and a Burger Van each having their own drawbacks.
We have now invested in a range of quality Dog Collars, Coats and Leads which are on sale on this site. Also we want to help rescue centers to make the most of the limited funds that they have by buying all their equipment and consumables at the best possible price, and sharing some of the profit we generate with them.
